Freedom Boat Club announced this week a new partnership with Touron, a privately owned Spanish company specializing in the distribution of marine engines, accessories and boats. Touron will open two new FBC locations in the Madrid area, with plans for future additions.
“We are thrilled to partner with Touron, whose rich legacy in the leisure boating market spans over six decades,” Arturo Gutierrez, general manager of Freedom Boat Club of Europe, Middle East and Africa, said in a statement.
“We have long admired the evolution of Freedom Boat Club and are excited to now bring this incredible brand to Madrid,” Fernando Giquel, general manager of Touron’s business division, added.
Touron’s two FBC locations — at San Juan Lake in Madrid and Entrepeñas Lake in Guadalajara — are expected to open during the 2026 and 2027 boating seasons. The new locations further FBC’s expansion in the European market, the company statement said.
