Godfrey Marine, the builder of Hurricane deckboats and Godfrey pontoons, yesterday announced the appointment of Doug Adrian as vice president and general manager.

Adrian served in an interim role at Godfrey and Hurricane, leading operations and managing supply-chain issues during the Covid-19 pandemic. He has 25 years of combined professional experience and 15 years in the marine industry, where he has specialized in propulsion, electronics and boatbuilding.

“Doug has been instrumental to our growth and development with his successful tackling of industrywide challenges, such as supply-chain shortages,” Ben Duke, president of marine for parent company Polaris, said in a statement. “He’s the perfect choice to step into larger responsibilities and continue helping to shepherd our brands forward into the future.”

“Working with Godfrey Marine has been a pleasure and a privilege,” Adrian said in the statement. “After already serving in this role and in others on a management level, I can confidently say that I’m excited to keep us looking ahead and connecting more customers with the water.”
