
Michigan Celebrates Small Business announced that it named Gougeon Brothers, manufacturer of West System epoxy and other fiberglass products, a 2023 recipient of the Michigan 50 Companies to Watch award.
“Since day one, we have strived for excellence in all aspects of our business, from product development, manufacturing and marketing to customer service and support,” Alan Gurski, president and CEO of Gougeon Brothers, said in a statement. “The acknowledgement is much appreciated; we’re all proud of our achievements. We’ll remain focused as we forge ahead on this journey toward tremendous success.”
To qualify, Michigan-based companies must be privately held and not have previously received the award. They must be past the startup phase and must have between six and 99 full-time W-2 employees, including the owner. Annual revenue must be between $750,000 and $50 million, and companies must demonstrate an intent and capacity to grow.
Gougeon Brothers will officially receive the award May 2 at the Breslin Center in East Lansing, Mich.
