IYRS School of Technology & Trades recently announced that it will host its annual Career Day on Jan. 25. The event will take place in Restoration Hall on the IYRS campus in Newport, R.I.
“IYRS Career Day is a win-win for employers, our students and the community,” director of student services Jen Iacovelli said in a statement. “We have 40-plus companies with job opportunities from as far as California that come to IYRS to recruit employees.”
Attendees can learn about job opportunities, meet hiring managers and explore new businesses. Exhibitors can meet skilled individuals with hands-on experience in fields that include boatbuilding and restoration, composites technology, digital modeling and fabrication, and systems.
