Kadey-Krogen Yachts and Summit Motoryachts today announced that it hired Jonathan Cooper as West Coast sales manager. Cooper will run the company’s new offices in Seattle and develop a sales team for the West Coast market.
“Having someone like Jonathan take a lead role in our strategic expansion is extremely exciting,” Kadey-Krogen CEO Tucker West said in a statement. “His prolific background adds a complementary level of experience to our team and will be key in leading our sales expansion efforts.”
Cooper previously was art director at Passagemaker magazine, where he also served as editor for four years. (Passagemaker and Soundings Trade Only are part of the Active Interest Media Marine Group.) Before that, Cooper held various roles at Grand Banks Yachts.
“As someone who has spent most of their career in this market, I am very excited to work with Tucker and the team at the company that essentially pioneered long-distance powerboat cruising,” Cooper said. “The dedication to new product for both the Krogen and Summit series and the attention to quality will certainly help make my job easier.”
