Soundings Trade Only is accepting applications for its annual Top 10 Most Innovative Marine Companies Awards until Sun., Aug. 15.

The awards acknowledge companies that advance operations and the marine industry through innovation and are open to any company that supplies or services the marine industry.
The awards panel — which includes Ron Huibers, former president and CEO of Volvo Penta of the Americas, and George Armendariz, former CEO of the Americas for Groupe Beneteau — is composed of editors from Soundings Trade Only and the Active Interest Media Marine Group, as well as other industry stakeholders. (Soundings Trade Only is part of the AIM Marine Group.)
Judges will review a range of initiatives that include the use of innovative materials, new manufacturing processes, supply-chain management, sustainability, workforce solutions, business development, technology and more.
“We expect submissions to focus on the incredible lengths, remarkable depth and dedication that companies go through when bringing new products to market or implementing game-changing, companywide initiatives,” said Soundings Trade Only editor-in-chief Jeff Moser. “We also want to hear about the journey that took you there.
