Lyman-Morse announced the construction of a new facility in Thomaston, Maine, to support its advanced composites capabilities, marking a significant expansion of the company’s manufacturing campus.
“This expansion is about giving our team the space and infrastructure they need to execute at the highest level,” Samir Gupta, manager of Lyman-Morse’s advanced manufacturing division, said in a statement. “This new building allows us to take on larger, more complex projects with greater efficiency.”
The new space includes a radiant-floor heat system to provide consistent climate control for construction projects and teams. The expansion is supported by an award from the Maine Technology Institute’s Maine Technology Asset Fund, a state program that aims to boost economic activity and grow the state’s innovation economy.
The project is expected to be completed this summer, joining Lyman-Morse’s two other specialized manufacturing facilities.
