MarineMax today announced the promotion of James Corts and Scott Roberton to vice president of yachts.
Corts joined MarineMax in 2002, bringing a strong financial background and decades of high-level sales experience. Prior to joining MarineMax, he was a licensed investment advisor.
Roberton began his MarineMax career in 1992 and has built deep expertise in the yacht segment, representing such premier brands as Ocean Alexander, Azimut and Galeon.

Their leadership, expertise and commitment to our clients set a strong standard across the MarineMax yachts organization,” president of retail operations and executive vice president Kyle Langbehn said in a statement. “Both have played an important role in our continued growth, and we look forward to their ongoing impact as we expand our presence at the highest levels of the yachting market.”
In their expanded roles, Corts and Roberton will advance MarineMax’s presence in the global yachting market by driving strategic growth initiatives, strengthening client relationships and further enhancing the yacht sales and brokerage platform, the company said.
