Reuters is reporting that Blackstone and Centerbridge Partners “have expressed interest in buying [the] recreational yacht retailer,” as well as three other firms.
Donerail Group is reiterating its all-cash offer to buy the company, and is signaling that it will vote against reelecting CEO Brett McGill to the board.
Levin Capital, a top 10 shareholder, wants an immediate review of strategic alternatives.
Following Donerail’s unsolicited interest to buy the company, MarineMax said the “board is committed to evaluating any credible proposal.”
First-quarter FY26 revenue was $505.2 million, compared with $468.5 million in the prior-year period.
