Jason Leggatt has resigned as president of Burnaby, British Columbia-based Mustang Survival. Leggatt and Andrew Branagh, CEO of parent company Wing Group, made the announcement.

The Wing Group said in a statement: “Jason built and now leaves an exceptionally talented team in place, and the business is positioned for continued dominance and growth in the field.”

Leggatt will join the company’s board and will provide counsel and strategic guidance for Wing Group and Mustang Survival.

Mustang Survival vice president of finance Juanita Killen will serve as interim president during the search for a new president.

Leggatt joined Mustang Survival in 2000 as an engineering co-op student from the University of British Columbia. He held positions in military business development, marketing and sales, and product development before becoming general manager and eventually president
