
The Outdoor Recreation Roundtable will hold a webinar tomorrow to provide an overview of the America’s Outdoor Recreation Act for Capitol Hill staff and the media.
ORR said in a statement the the AORA has no fiscal note and includes several initiatives that will help modernize recreation infrastructure, manage and conserve public lands and waters, support local businesses, and help mitigate the impacts of increased visitation.
The webinar will include:
• Chris Perkins, senior director of the Outdoor Recreation Roundtable
• Cally Hoyt, NMMA senior director of federal government relations
• Scott Schloegel, senior vice president of government relations, Motorcycle Industry Council
• Maribel Castenada, manager, Confluence of States
• Steven Foy, general manager of outpost operations, Nantahala Outdoor Center
