Banshee founder Dan Soeters will serve as president of the combined companies, and he is tasked with improving product development with a focus on the pool, spa and outdoor audio design space. He also plans to renew emphasis on consumer and business-to-business engagement.
Poly-Planar president Todd Allen will stay on board as a consultant.
“I’ve used Poly-Planar systems for years, and for as long as I can remember, they’ve been making big splashes in the pool, spa and outdoor segments,” Soeters said in a statement. “As we at Banshee Marine Audio combine forces with Poly-Planar, I couldn’t be more excited to move further into this space and establish true dominance in the outdoor world.”
Soeters has been in the marine audio business for more than 20 years, including global sales director with Fusion.
