PressureMate introduced an on-board, 12-volt pressure washer that it said won’t damage gelcoat or upholstery.

The 600-psi system connects to a boat’s freshwater tank and is driven by a compact, 12-volt pump using a patent-pending plunger to pressurize water. The pump kit is priced at $1,850.

“Whether you’re an angler, racer or long-distance cruiser, a successful day on the water typically ends with hours of cleanup at the dock,” PressureMate principal Mark Maus said in a statement. “With PressureMate you can save time by cleaning underway.”

PressureMate measures 11 by 11 by 5 inches and weighs 24 pounds. The spray-gun hose connects through a stainless-steel fitting either directly into the pump or can be upgraded to connect to a supplied bulkhead fitting.
