Pursuit Boats announced its top dealer honors, with Quality Boats named best domestic dealer. Quality’s Chandler Hansen earned the top salesperson award. The dealership has four locations in Florida. “We are very proud of the strides they have made to achieve this honor, and we are thrilled with how they represent the Pursuit brand,” Pursuit director of sales Randy Jernigan said in a statement. BoatPAC will host a virtual watch party for the first presidential debate at 8:30 p.m. on Sept. 29, with predebate commentary from political insiders and government affairs experts, according to the National Marine Manufacturers Association. The event will be headlined by NMMA president Frank Hugelmeyer and Matt Gruhn, president of the Marine Retailers Association of the Americas. Sea-Doo was among the brands highlighted by Good Design Australia, which recognized parent company BRP for innovation. The awards jury called the Sea-Doo GTI a “well-resolved evolution” of an earlier product. “The addition of more usable space, superior stability and easy-access storage will be valued by end users,” the jury said in a statement. BRP also won an International Design Excellence Award for electric concepts designed for urban vehicles and powersports.
