Sail America has added three new directors to its 2018 board. Lenny Shabes of the American Sailing Association, Patrick Turner of Catalina Yachts and Josh Toso of US Sailing are the new members.
Shabes and Turner were elected through Sail America’s standard election process in which a nominating committee submitted candidate names to association members who voted on them. Toso joined the board as a replacement for Jack Gierhart of US Sailing. Soundings Trade Only Senior Reporter Reagan Haynes also had her expiring term renewed. All members serve for three years.
The board also bid farewell to Jeff Johnstone of J Boats and extended gratitude for his service to the organization.
