Sail magazine yesterday announced the winners of its annual Pittman Innovation Awards.
The program recognized products in the categories of safety, performance gear, cruising, electronics and systems. The awards are named in honor of former Sail products editor Freeman K. Pittman.
Principal editor Adam Cort judged performance gear category; Charles J. Doane judged the cruising category; Cort and Ben Ellison fielded entries in the safety category; Ellison judged the electronics category; and Jay Paris judged entries in the systems category.
