Finnish builder Saxdor Yachts has opened a new headquarters from which it will sell direct to local customers. The Helsinki facility is also designed to streamline service.

“We want to reform the industry and test a new business model where the customer is served directly by the manufacturer,” CEO Erna Rusi said in a statement. “This approach not only brings us closer to our clientele in Finland, but also allows us to provide unparalleled value — for example in the form of exclusive customer events.”

Saxdor announced collaborations with partners in Helsinki and Turku, Finland, for maintenance, warranty repairs and delivery services.
