Sea Tow Services International plans to give $10,000 to one lucky boater in an effort to generate excitement about the 2011 boating season.
The marine assistance provider launched its “Rig Your Boat With $10,000” Sweepstakes on Monday. Participants can enter to win at www.seatow.com/10000bucks. The sweepstakes will run through Jan. 31 and is open to boat owners nationwide who are at least 18 years old. No purchase is necessary to participate.
“We believe there’s no better time than now to generate some renewed excitement about boating,” said Kristen Frohnhoefer, Sea Tow’s chief administrative officer. “It’s been a challenging couple of years for boaters and the boating industry. We believe that giving a fellow boater $10,000 will be the perfect pick-me-up.”
The winner of the “Rig Your Boat With $10,000” Sweepstakes will be announced at the Miami International Boat Show in February.
“This contest is very important for all of us at Sea Tow,” Frohnhoefer said. “We want the winner to truly feel special and understand how deeply we care about people’s ability to continue enjoying the boating lifestyle we all love so much. In the current economy, that has been tough.”
