Shearwater Boats becomes the official boat partner of Florida-based Ladies, Let’s Go Fishing with the donation of a 250 Carolina Bay XTE.
The boat will include products from Lowrance and Bob’s Machine, which also are new partners with the educational nonprofit that aims to get more women on the water.
“Shearwater Boats is pleased to share its top-quality performance boats to support this effort to make fishing available for women, an important emerging market in fishing,” Shearwater operations vice president Mike Hankins said in a statement. “We are happy to help enable them to enter the sport.”
“These partnerships are crucial to our mission to develop the female sector of fishing and to put fishing on the top radar for family recreational activities,” said Betty Bauman, the founder of Ladies, Let’s Go Fishing.
