TACO Marine and TACO Metals yesterday announced that both operations moved corporate headquarters from Miami to Miramar, Fla., ending a 34-year history in Miami.
The manufacturer, which specializes in fishing components and systems, as well as canvas work, tower components, helm chairs and pedestals, and other specialty hardware, had pivoted to a largely work-from-home environment for administrative functions during the Covid-19 pandemic.
“Our administrative workforce has been working and will continue to work remotely,” vice president of sales and marketing Mike Kushner said in a statement. “This gave us the opportunity to scale back our office space and relocate to a more strategic location from which to serve our customers.”
