PHOTO BY ERIC COLBYThe Association of Marina Industries yesterday recognized its new certified marina managers and certified marina operators during the opening day keynote for its annual conference and expo in Daytona Beach, Fla.
CMMs and CMOs are marina professionals who have completed an extensive training and certification process through the AMI Training Institute and support the continuance of education and training for themselves and those who work within the marina industry.
The list of new CMOs includes Kori Derrick Cisewski of Bayport Marina Association, Jason Heywood of Safe Harbor Green Harbor, Lynn Lovelady of Scorpion Bay Marina, Jon Perkins of the City of Oceanside, Jarod Viers of Lake Powell Resorts & Marinas, David Wirth of St. Petersburg Municipal Marina, Heather Mess of MarineMax, and Jacod Podesta of Chandlers Landing Marina.
New CMMs include Cody Barto of MarineMax Houston, Jason Breland of Chandler’s Landing, Andy Caballero of Simpson Bay Marina, Matt Creswell of CBJ Docks & Harbors, Jeff Durning of Safe Harbor Regatta Point, Jeremy Enck, Safe Harbor Aqualand, Mary Hunt of Safe Harbor Cowesett, Shawn Macking of St. Petersburg Yacht Club, Travis Staats or Windward at Camachee Cove Yacht Harbor, TJ Quandt of Port Olympia, Alex Turner of Grosse Point Yacht Club, Destinee Hodges of Harbor Walk Marina, Rick Jacobs of Meridian Marina and Audrey Willmot of VIP Marinas.
The AMI Conference & Expo will wrap up today at 5 p.m. after a full schedule of breakout sessions and seminars.
