Wintron Electronics said its tuition reimbursement program, in conjunction with with Garmin, for National Marine Electronics Association training courses totaled almost $100,000 for 65 trainees.
Installing dealers received 100 percent reimbursement of training expenses during the program, which started last September and ran through March 30.
“Our installing dealers quickly recognized the value of our offer and took full advantage of it,” Wintron president Eddie Winder said in a statement. “Installing dealers who are abreast of the latest advancements in electronics and who have mastered the skills required to assure quality installations are going to provide their customers with a high level of satisfaction that will benefit everyone in the industry.”
The campaign also familiarized participants with Garmin’s dealer installation rebate program, in which Garmin reimburses certified dealers for installations they perform.
