Gillen Yacht Services announced that it is expanding into a new, 15,000-square-foot location in West Palm Beach, Fla. Additionally, the company hired Tony Matherly as the facility’s operations manager.
“We are thrilled to have a seasoned maritime professional of Tony’s caliber join our company,” general manager Ralph Hall said in a statement. “His experience, management skills and leadership abilities will be invaluable as we continue to expand our operations in the West Palm megayacht and large-sailing-yacht market.”
Matherly has more than 30 years of service experience, including time at Trinity Yachts in New Orleans and Rybovich in Palm Beach, Fla. Most recently, he was a production manager at Delta T Systems.
“I am excited to join the Gillen Yacht Services family at our new location in West Palm Beach,” Matherly said in the statement. “It’s an exciting opportunity to build a new branch of Gillen Yacht Services, which will allow us to better serve the West Palm Beach and surrounding yachting community.”
