Walstrom Marine today announced that president Tom Ervin will step away from his role but stay involved as a strategic advisor to the company. He has led the Michigan-based dealership since 2016 and has more than 20 years of experience managing national marine organizations.

“Tom has made such a large impact on our family’s business,” second-generation owner Ward Walstrom Jr. said in a statement. “He helped transform Walstrom Marine while keeping intact our values and culture of putting our customers first. I will remember Tom most for his servant leadership.”

Walstrom Marine said in the statement that it is committed to finding the right leader to continue its legacy of customer service and employee care. Ervin will remain in his role until a successor is in place.
