Torqeedo announced today that, starting this month, its electric motors will be available through the Yamaha dealer network in eight European countries for the first time.
“We are delighted to broaden our presence through Yamaha’s extensive and reliable dealer network,” Timm Burmeister, director of global business development at Torqeedo, said in a statement. “This partnership not only enhances our ability to introduce our innovative drive technologies to additional dealers, but also leverages local expertise and deep market knowledge.”
Select Torqeedo outboards — including the Travel Ultralight, Travel Family and Cruise models — will be available in the United Kingdom, Ireland, Switzerland, Croatia, Slovenia, Italy, Spain and Portugal.
Yamaha acquired Torqeedo in April 2024.
