TowBoatUS announced the opening of a West Point Lake, Ga., location, owned by Capt. Greg Williams and Capt. Reed Dills. TowBoatUS Westpoint Lake’s 21-foot response boat is home-ported at Highland Pines Marina.
“We’re looking forward to helping boaters get home safely when their boats break down, and we hope to make a positive impact on the West Point Lake community,” Dills said in a statement.
Williams and Dills previously worked in vessel recovery, salvaging hurricane-damaged boats. “With the experience we gained, it made sense for us to take the next step and open a TowBoatUS port,” Dills added.
