BoatUS yesterday announced the addition of three TowBoatUS operations on the Mississippi River Delta in Louisiana. The locations include Lafitte, Venice and Grand Isle, bringing the total number of TowBoatUS operations in Louisiana to five.
According to a statement: “TowBoatUS Lafitte has an 18-foot airboat and a 22-foot response vessel homeported at Jean Lafitte Harbor. A 25-foot response vessel is stationed at Venice Marina, while a 31-foot Pursuit response vessel at Bridge Side Marina in Grand Isle helps speed response times for offshore anglers requiring routine assistance.”
The new towing ports are part of a nationwide fleet of more than 330 locations that help boaters get back to the dock or ramp safely after a breakdown.
