Vision Marine today announced a partnership with Florida-based Hydrofin to bring the company’s hydrofoil systems to Vision’s pontoons through its Nautical Ventures network. Hydrofin systems are engineered to partially lift pontoons off the surface, reducing drag and improving performance.
“This partnership allows us to broaden the value of our pontoon offering,” Vision COO Maxime Poudrier said in a statement. “For electric models, Hydrofin directly supports our E-Motion propulsion by extending range and optimizing energy use, while for ICE [internal combustion engine] pontoons, it enhances fuel economy and ride comfort.”
Joint marketing, training and service initiatives will support the rollout across Nautical Ventures’ Florida locations, the statement said.
