Nixon Marine Global, a U.S.-based importer and distributor of European accessories for the aftermarket and OEMs, announced that it was appointed North American distributor for Ankerplex, a Spain-based manufacturer of anchoring products.
“We are delighted to add Ankerplex to our collection of high-quality suppliers and look forward to helping the growth of the company here in the U.S.,” Nixon Global president Keith Nixon said in a statement. “The product quality meets our own high standard and will be a perfect fit for our market.”
Ankerplex received a special mention for innovation at last year’s Dame Design Awards. With a flat-pack design and no moving parts, Ankerplex makes an ideal kedge or emergency anchor, the statement said.
“Entering the United States market is a major challenge that we face with great enthusiasm,” Ankerplex owner Fran Cristos said in the statement. “We trust in our product, and in the experience, high capacity and professionalism of Keith Nixon and the Nixon Marine Global team.”
