Electric boat and propulsion manufacturer Vision Marine Technologies reported sales of $982,355 (CAD$1.3 million) in its 2023 third quarter, ending May 31, compared with $1.52 million (CAD$2.01 million) a year ago.
The company said in a statement that net loss was $2.34 million (CAD$3.1 million), compared with $1.47 million (CAD$1.94 million) a year ago. For the nine months, sales were $2.67 million (CAD$3.53 million) compared with $3 million (CAD$3.98 million) a year ago. Net loss was $12.53 million (CAD$16.58 million) compared with $6.85 million (CAD$9.07 million) in 2022.
Basic loss per share from continuing operations was $1.40 (CAD$1.87), an increase from 82 cents (CAD$1.09) a year ago.
