Walstrom Marine announced that Tom Ervin was inducted into the Michigan Boating Industry Association Hall of Fame. The honor, revealed Dec. 6 during MBIA’s annual awards dinner in Grand Rapids, Mich., recognizes Ervin’s long-standing contributions to the Michigan boating industry and his leadership at Walstrom Marine since joining the company in 2016.

“The Michigan Boating Industry Association’s recognition highlights the dedication, professionalism and passion that drive our entire team,” Walstrom Marine said in a statement. “The MBIA Hall of Fame honors those who have left a meaningful mark on recreational boating in Michigan, and Tom’s induction places him among an esteemed group of leaders who have influenced the future of boating throughout the Great Lakes.”

In addition to Ervin’s induction, two Walstrom Marine service technicians were also honored. Brian Johnson won the Outstanding Technician Award for technical expertise, dedication to quality service and a commitment to customer satisfaction. Cody Beach received the Marine Technician, New Achiever Award for professional growth, a strong work ethic and promise as an emerging leader.
