Starting in 2024, the Yacht Racing Forum, the international conference dedicated to competitive sailing, will be held in Amsterdam alongside Metstrade.

The annual forum will be held in Amsterdam through 2026. It is not being held this year.

“This is great news for the Yacht Racing Forum, which will welcome a wider audience and strengthen its role as the leading annual conference dedicated to the sport of sailing,” Bernard Schopfer, organizer of the event, said in a statement. “This new concept will increase participation while significantly reducing the event’s carbon footprint.”

The forum is scheduled for Nov. 20-22.

“The forum’s arrival is expected to bolster Metstrade’s status as a versatile platform that caters to a diverse audience and offers various opportunities for different interests or industries related to yacht racing or the marine sector,” show director Niels Klarenbeek added.
