Position Overview
Carolina Skiff, LLC is seeking a highly motivated and self-driven Independent Sales Representative to support and expand our dealer network. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work within a dynamic industry, drive sales growth, and build lasting relationships with dealers through product expertise and training.
Key Responsibilities
- Actively promote and sell company products within an assigned multi-state territory
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing dealers
- Identify and establish new dealer accounts to expand market presence
- Deliver tailored sales presentations based on dealer market needs and opportunities
- Analyze market potential to focus sales efforts and maximize volume
- Conduct regular product and sales training sessions for dealer teams
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activity, customer interactions, and orders
- Provide consistent reporting, including daily call reports, weekly plans, and monthly dealer analyses
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, pricing, and product developments
- Recommend improvements to products, services, and policies based on market feedback
- Address and resolve dealer concerns by investigating issues and implementing effective solutions
- Support dealers with marketing initiatives, product knowledge, warranty assistance, and service guidance

Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of sales experience in the marine or related industry
- Strong organizational and customer service skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Experience working both independently and collaboratively
- Ability to attend and represent the company at industry trade shows and events
- Reliable transportation
