Coastline is an established local business servicing the Southwest Florida market for nearly two decades. Coastline makes premium boat lift covers out of Fort Myers, Florida. We’ve built a loyal following across coastal markets by making custom frames and canopies that are premium quality and durable enough for the Florida market. Beyond building new canopies, we take pride in establishing long-term customer relationships and delivering excellent customer service. Our business runs on relationships—with marinas, dealers, dock builders, and the boat owners who trust us. We’re growing and we need the right person to help us take the next step.

The Role

Grow our dealer network across Florida and surrounding markets. That’s the job. Find great dealer partners, get them set up, train them on our products, and help them sell. This is a commission-heavy role with a lean base—built for someone who’d rather eat what they kill. Top performers should expect to earn $100,000+ annually. Field-based with 50%+ travel.

What You’ll Do

  • Identify, recruit, onboard, and activate new dealers and affiliates across Florida and surrounding coastal markets.
  • Build real relationships with dealer partners through regular in-person visits. Show up, train their teams, help them sell.
  • Be the go-to person for your dealers. When they have a question or a problem, you handle it.
  • Work with dealers to develop local promotions and co-branded marketing that drives business to their door.
  • Own the sales number in your territory—from prospecting through close and follow-up.
  • Represent Coastline at boat shows, trade shows, and marina events in dealer markets.
  • Keep your ear to the ground on what competitors are doing and what the market needs.

What We’re Looking For

  • 3+ years in sales or business development. Marine industry experience is a big plus.
  • Track record of building new business, not just managing existing accounts.
  • Experience with dealer networks, channel partnerships, or distributor relationships.
  • Self-starter who thinks like a business owner. You don’t wait to be told what to do.
  • Natural relationship builder—dealers, marina operators, and customers trust you and want to work with you.
  • Comfortable in a fast-moving, figure-it-out environment. We’re not a big corporation—that’s the point.
  • Willing to travel over 50%.

Compensation

Lean base + aggressive commission. Top performers should expect $100,000+ annually once their territory is developed. Uncapped—you control your income. Medical, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO, and T&E/mileage reimbursement included.
