’Tis the season for factory promotions. BRP and Ranger Boats are rolling out special promotions to entice consumers to buy.
BRP’s Evinrude 100th Anniversary Sales Event offers consumers a five-year factory-backed warranty and a special low consumer financing program. The promotion is offered in the United States on retail purchases between Jan. 1 and April 15 on new 2009 model year and earlier engines 40 hp and higher.
BRP is also offering special financing on boat packages or loose engines purchased for repower, and a repower bonus with an option to choose an I-Command Digital gauge package or up to $300 down payment rebate, depending on horsepower.
“We focused on consumer needs with this offer — financing assistance for the overall purchase as well as worry-free boating,” said Roch Lambert, vice president and general manager, Ski-Doo/Sea-Doo/Evinrude division for BRP.

Ranger’s Factory Team promotion offers buyers of qualified Ranger boats some of the perks that professional anglers enjoy, with equipment and incentives valued at up to $2,000.
Consumers who purchase a qualifying Ranger between Dec. 15 and March 15 can receive a combination of the following items: deluxe boat cover, entry fee voucher, Rapala VIP card, or Ranger Owners Group membership.
“We’re offering the new Factory Team promotion as a great way for people who fish on a serious level to receive items and benefits they would otherwise have to purchase,” said Keith Daffron, vice president of sales for Ranger Boats, in a statement.
