Encore Boat Builders, manufacturer of the Bentley Encore pontoon, reports it has increased production to keep up with growing demand.
The Lexington, S.C.-based company is now producing 50 boats a week, up from 25, the company said.
“The winter show season has been positive with all of our dealers. We are very excited about the 2010 selling season. It feels like summer is already here,” national sales manager Tedd Moore said in a statement. “We have added employees at both plants to keep up with the increased production demand. Our dealers are showing positive retail activity at their locations and are moving inventory.”
Encore has two plants, in Lexington, S.C., and Mexico, Mo., with a total of 80 employees.
