Viking Yacht Co. said in a statement that it has had “robust sales” during the current boat show season. The New Jersey-based builder said it sold 29 boats at Miami International Boat Show and Miami Yacht Show, and that a half-dozen other transactions are in the works.

“At every boat show, we put our best foot forward, showing the results of our efforts all year long to build a better boat every day,” president and CEO Pat Healey said in the statement. “We certainly have some strong momentum working for us.”

Sales were split between Viking models (16 sold) and Valhalla center consoles (13 sold). The builder said Valhalla sales have passed 100 units. “It’s a huge team effort to expose people to our boats during this time period,” director of communications Chris Landry told Trade Only Today.
