Marine Exhaust Systems said it has hired Mark Brown for technical sales.
The company said Brown brings a broad, unique skill set, ranging from sales and marketing strategy to small business and entrepreneurship. He will work with owners, captains, boatyards and boatbuilders to develop complete exhaust systems and sell individual components.
“We’re excited to have Mark on board,” company vice president Sheila Prieschl said in a statement. “He’s a marine industry insider with experience on a wide range of vessels and a passion for customer service. He’s a great addition to our team.”
Brown most recently was sales director at Galatea, an online vessel maintenance management system. Before that, he worked for Vessel Vanguard, and in new and brokerage boat and yacht sales.
