“I am thrilled to take on this new role and lead USHarbors into its next growth phase,” Bloomquist said in a statement. “We are dedicated to providing valuable tidal data, weather observations and forecasts and coastal flooding information while fostering connections within coastal communities across the United States and helping our audience of boaters, coastal businesses, travelers and waterfront homeowners.”
Bloomquist, who will remain in his current role as national sales manager for Back Cove Yachts, created USHarbors with Joshua Moore in 2009. Bloomquist’s future plans include expanding partnerships with coastal businesses and organizations and introducing features to serve the needs of boaters and coastal communities.
