Gowrie Group is partnering with New England Science and Sailing Foundation to support the organization and its outreach efforts in New London, Conn.
As part of the partnership, Gowrie Group is the presenting sponsor of the Mystic Oyster Fest, a charity fundraiser benefiting the New England Science and Sailing Foundation to be held Aug. 16.
“It’s wonderful to have the support of a reputable company like Gowrie Group, whose mission aligns with NESS’s core values of inclusiveness, experiential hands-on learning, personal growth and stewardship,” New England Science and Sailing Foundation president Spike Lobdell said in a statement.
“We are proud to support NESS as they continue to expand the reach of their ocean adventure education programs and STEM education outreach in New London, Conn.,” Gowrie Group CEO Carter Gowrie said.
The annual Mystic Oyster Fest takes place at the Mystic Arts Center in Mystic, Conn., and features several local restaurants.
