Superyacht Coating Conference Returns

The conference will be held Nov. 18-19 at RAI Amsterdam in conjunction with Metstrade and The Superyacht Forum.

ICOMIA announced that the Superyacht Coating Conference will be held Nov. 18-19 during the Superyacht Forum and Metstrade. Organized by Metstrade, in partnership with the International Council of Marine Industry Associations and the Superyacht Builders Association, the B2B conference will enable professionals to stay abreast of the latest legislation, tools and standardized procedures relevant to coatings.

“The topic of superyacht coatings remains one of the greatest challenges facing the new build and refit yards,” Metstrade director Niels Klarenbeek said in a statement. “The changing landscape in the superyacht industry makes this the essential time to organize this conference again.”

The Superyacht Coating Conference is supported by such coating manufacturers as AkzoNobel, Hempel, BAE Systems, MB92, Pettit Paint, De Koning Group and Wrede Consulting, with others to be confirmed. The event will be held every two years and will run alongside Metstrade and The Superyacht Forum at RAI Amsterdam.

The Superyacht Forum runs Nov. 17-18, and Metstrade runs Nov. 18-20.
