PHOTO COURTESY YAMAHA Yamaha U.S. Marine Business Unit announced today that Kracor, a division of Yamaha Marine Systems Co., is officially doing business as Yamaha Marine Rotational Molders. John Augustiniak was named general manager.
Augustiniak will oversee the manufacturing and operational business strategy, in addition to sales, marketing and logistics for the company’s rotationally molded, plastic products for the boating and other industries.
“Augustiniak’s leadership will undoubtedly drive innovation and strengthen Yamaha’s commitment to quality,” Ben Speciale, president of Yamaha U.S. Marine Business Unit, said in a statement. “His significant expertise and leadership will enhance manufacturing capabilities, which are invaluable assets as Yamaha Marine Rotational Molders continues to grow within the industry.”
Augustiniak has more than 30 years of operational leadership experience, most recently as operations manager for Amazon’s Texas and Wisconsin facilities. He reports directly to Bill Boehman, president of Yamaha Marine Systems and Yamaha Jet Boat Manufacturing U.S.A.
Yamaha Marine Rotational Molders, the former Kracor, manufactures rotationally molded, plastic products for national and international markets, producing parts for such segments as recreational marine, industrial, agricultural, waste, lawn and garden, and medical.
