World Cat announced that Vann Knight was promoted to company president. Knight, who joined World Cat in 2018 and most recently served as chief operating officer, will oversee day-to-day operations, including manufacturing, engineering, finance and customer experience.
“I am excited about this opportunity, the teams we have built and for the future of World Cat,” Knight said in a statement. “We are eager to support Andrew Brown in his new role as CEO.”
Brown previously was World Cat president, according to his LinkedIn profile.
Headquartered in Tarboro, N.C., with an additional production facility in Greenville, N.C., World Cat manufactures outboard power catamarans from 23 to 40 feet.
