Groupe Beneteau reported revenue of €452.3 million ($515 million) for the first half of 2026, up 12% year-over-year, though growth slowed in the second quarter to 3.4% as dealers managed inventory cautiously amid the conflict in the Middle East. Second-quarter revenue came in at €282.7 million ($322 million). Retail sell-out sales rose 14%, outperforming the market across all segments, which the company attributed to the success of models launched in 2025.

“The first half of the year highlights the relevance of our product strategy: Retail sales delivered double-digit growth and outperformed the market across every segment,” CEO Bruno Thivoyon stated in a press release. “However, the ongoing conflict in the Middle East during the second quarter prolonged the wait-and-see approach adopted by some boat users, as well as the cautious management of inventory by dealers. We are moving into the 2026/2027 season with a plan to launch 24 new models. … The group is therefore still fully committed to delivering growth over the full year.”

The company confirmed it is proceeding with the June 15 announcement that it is halting production at its Cadillac, Mich., facility in the third quarter and pursuing a divestment of that site along with the Four Winns, Glastron and Scarab Jet brands. Beneteau said the move is in response to structural weakness in the bowrider and jetboat segments, compounded by the Middle East conflict, and noted that the three brands posted combined operating losses of nearly €30 million ($34.1 million) in 2024-25. The company said the divestment does not affect its broader ambitions in the American market, where its remaining brands grew 29% in the first half.

Beneteau said its order book for deliveries this year showed a slight year-over-year increase at the end of June — excluding the brands slated for divestment — down from growth of more than 10% at the end of February before the Iran war. Still, the company said it remains committed to full-year sales growth and will lean on 24 new model launches for the 2026-27 season to support demand heading into the Cannes Yachting Festival in September.
