The National Marine Manufacturers Association announced that nominations are open for the 2027 Alan J. Freedman Memorial Award, which recognizes individuals for outstanding, lasting contributions to the marine accessories industry.
The award honors leaders whose work reflects leadership, creativity, innovation and dedication, the NMMA stated in a press release. Eligible nominees include accessory manufacturers, sales representatives, members of marine-focused media, boat dealers, distributors and marine trade association staff.
Nominations must be received by by Dec. 1, and the award will be presented Feb. 11 during the Miami International Boat Show, scheduled for Feb. 10-14.
