The National Marine Electronics Association last week recognized the industry’s top electronic products at its annual Marine Electronics Conference and Expo in Providence R.I.

NMEA members voted online in various categories to select the award winners. In addition, a panel of judges selected winners for the NMEA Technology and the Best New Product Awards.

“The NMEA board of directors and staff are pleased to congratulate all 2024 award winners,” NMEA president and executive director Mark Reedenauer said in a statement. “Our awards program continues to highlight the best innovations in marine electronics, providing valuable exposure for manufacturers across the industry.”

The Best New Product award went to BRNKL Blue, Fish On! Edition. The Technology award was presented to Maretron for its Mconnect WSV100 web server. NMEA recognized, for the first time, a Distributor of the Year award, which was presented to CWR Wholesale Distribution. The Manufacturer of the Year award was given to Si-Tex, Actisense and Garmin.

The Technology and Best New Product awards were judged by NMEA board vice chairman Richard Baker, Sick Speed Marine Electronics’ Nick Cambron, Reagan Haynes with Haynes Communications, and Jim Fullilove from Marine Electronics Journal.
