The Discover Boating Miami International Boat Show opens today with more than 100,000 people expected to attend and more than 1,000 products on display.
One of the largest boat shows in the world, it’s expected to generate close to $1 billion for the region, and industry analysts consider MIBS an important gauge of boat-buying interest across a wide spectrum of market sectors.
The show is owned by the National Marine Manufacturers Association and the International Yacht Brokers Association, and is produced by Informa Markets.
“The Discover Boating Miami International Boat Show is a cornerstone event for the recreational marine industry, bringing together innovators, exhibitors and attendees from around the world,” NMMA president and CEO Frank Hugelmeyer said in a statement. “It’s a five-day showcase of the best in boating featuring the newest boats, products and technologies, offering attendees an unparalleled opportunity to experience the latest debuts and trends, connect with industry experts, and enjoy the boating lifestyle.”
Added IYBA chief operating officer Paul Flannery: “Our show serves as a powerful platform for yachting brands to connect with discerning buyers. From exclusive product debuts to brokerage opportunities, it’s the ultimate venue for those looking to explore a life of luxury on the water. For brands, it’s a chance to showcase their craftsmanship and vision, creating connections that drive the yachting lifestyle forward.”
The show runs through Sunday at the Miami Beach Convention Center and Pride Park, the Venetian Marina, Herald Plaza, Museum Park Marina and IGY Yacht Haven Grande Miami.
