People should not expect big changes to five of Florida’s largest boat and yacht shows.

Active Interest Media said company founder Efrem “Skip” Zimbalist III is retiring as CEO of Show Management.
Show Management was purchased by a London-based company with a strategic plan to expand its Global Exhibitions business in the United States.

Bennett Auto Supply, the Marine Industries Association of South Florida and Show Management raised $50,000 for Sheridan House Family Ministries.

Phil Purcell gave the board of the MIASF notice that he will step down as CEO and executive director in January 2018.
The MIASF said Foreign Trade Zone restricted-access sites are considered to be outside U.S. Customs territory.

Attendance at the show, which wrapped up Nov. 7, was up 5 percent from 2015.
