Its National Boating Industry Safety Awards program recognizes efforts to make boating safer within the for-profit sector.
The funding will go toward its Life Jacket Loaner Program and Sober Skipper Campaign.
The organization will accept entries for its National Boating Industry Safety Awards until July 30.
The foundation said the council now has a total of 21 members representing multiple industry segments
The towing provider reported that combined requests for service during the holiday weekend were up nearly 29 percent from 2021
The foundation said the loaner station in Massachusetts honors late captain Steve Winkler’s dedication to safety on the water
The free resources include safety tips, photos, videos and more to promote National Safe Boating Week.
The company’s annual member survey showed that high fuel prices are not as significant a deterrent to boat usage as expected.
