What boat classes were most popular among visitors to Boat Trader last year? Center consoles, drawing nearly double the views of the No. 2 class — cruisers.
We recently created a report on the 10 most-viewed classes from Nov. 1, 2013, to Oct. 31, 2014, and the ranking remained almost the same as a year earlier. The exception was that express cruisers drew more views than high-performance boats and houseboats and moved from the 10th to the eighth position.
Because of general growth in the number of visitors to Boat Trader for the 12-month period, all classes showed an increase in views. Although center console views grew the most on an absolute basis — up 2.54 million — saltwater fishing boat and express cruiser views increased at the highest percentage rates —more than 30 percent.
